Mission

Core Objectives

  • Guide Events & Partnerships teams to deliver impactful activations and partnerships.

  • Drive strategic partnerships and build strong local community connections through sports experiences and activations.

  • Ensure event excellence, brand consistency, and strong customer experiences across all touchpoints.

  • Generate high traffic, increase visibility, boost community engagement, and drive new & buying member acquisition through events and partnerships.

  • Build scalable processes, governance, and operational frameworks for efficient execution and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Country Event Strategy & Store Support: Lead the country-level event and activation strategy, manage the national event portfolio (including Grand Openings, brand launches, and mega events), and support Retail teams in planning and executing impactful local events and partnerships.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Community Development: Develop long-term, meaningful partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including sports communities, government bodies, brands, media, and landlords, to strengthen community presence and drive traffic and member acquisition.
  • Partnership Governance: Establish partnership guidelines and frameworks, ensuring all collaborations, sponsorships, and agreements follow proper legal validation and align operationally with Retail, Legal, Procurement, and Marketing teams.
  • Event Operation & Execution Excellence: Oversee end-to-end event planning, managing cross-functional coordination (Marketing, Logistics, PR, etc.), handling operational readiness (vendors, safety, setup), and optimizing events to maximize conversion, community engagement, and ROI.
  • Brand Experience & Member Engagement: Deliver strong brand experiences by developing engaging, inclusive, and accessible activations that strengthen emotional connections through sport, and support storytelling across all digital and retail channels.
  • Performance Management & Continuous Improvement: Build event playbooks and guidelines, continuously monitor key performance indicators (ROI, traffic, member acquisition, community impact), share best practices across stores, and drive continuous improvement through post-event analysis, market trends, and innovation.

Profile

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Sports Management, or related fields.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in events, partnerships, brand activation, community engagement, or related fields.

  • Experience leading and managing events with a minimum of 2,000 participants.

  • Passionate about events, community engagement, partnerships, and brand activation.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills in managing events, partnerships, and multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with Retail teams, communities, vendors, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Basic understanding of event operations, partnership coordination, and community engagement is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with event planning, activation execution, and customer engagement strategies.

  • Knowledge of partnership agreements, sponsorship coordination, and stakeholder management is a plus.

  • Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to work collectively across cross-functional teams.
