To help us with this mission, we're seeking an exceptional Data Engineer to tackle real-world data challenges.
As a Data Engineer, you are the critical bridge between raw data and business impact. You don’t just “move” data; you architect the systems that power decisions across our stores, ecommerce, and logistics, ensuring our data is scalable, cost-effective and trusted.
What you will do
Design, build and optimize large scale DBT projects, acting as the core point of contact for DBT across the region
Design, build and optimize production-grade data pipelines and solutions to unlock data from web-scrapers, store operations, and ecosystem partners.
Design, build and optimize CICD workflows to increase developer efficiency, improve cloud performance and manage AWS & GCP infrastructure
Collaborate with business teams to identify solutions, clarify requirements and improve existing tools. You help teammates develop a data driven mindset.
Be an advocate and key contact for automation, data use and data driven decision making
Actively contribute to the data / analytics engineering community
Profile
Requirements
Background: Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with 2+ years of Data Engineering experience.
Data Stack: Advanced Python and SQL; intermediate PySpark and experience with Databricks or BigQuery.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP and building CI/CD workflows (GitHub).
The "Plus": Proficiency with dbt is highly valued.
Mindset: Business-driven with strong conceptual problem-solving skills.
