Job Overview

The E-commerce Intern supports and assists the E-commerce team in online business growth by optimizing the online purchase experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with optimisation for our E-commerce platforms, such as: internal searches, homepage, sport page, category page, product page of www.Decathlon.my, www.Decathlon.sg, mobile app, & Shopee.

  • Responsible to manage A to Z the business for your allocated sport categories 

  • Achieve sales and margin targets for assigned categories through planned and data-driven commercial initiatives

  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to develop digital category strategies aligned with country-level commercial goals

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and propose actionable insights for continuous improvement

  • Lead seasonal product availability planning across all Decathlon digital platforms, ensuring timely launch in coordination with operations and supply teams

  • Define and manage product segmentation for marketing, merchandising, and sales initiatives, based on seasonality and product attributes

  • Develop content strategies that offer complete and accessible sports solutions, enhancing product discoverability and customer onboarding.

Main KPI
  • Customer satisfaction with the digital shopping experience
  • Conversion rate improvements
  • Achievement of sales, growth, and margin targets for assigned categories

     

Profile

Requirements
  • 6-month Internship

  • Must be Sportive/Sports Enthusiast

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in E-commerce/Business/Marketing or related field

  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) is essential. Other languages is a plus.

  • Willingness to learn & improve, result-oriented

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

  • Strong proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Excel
