About this role:
1. Be the Customer & Product Expert
Focus: Ensure an excellent shopping experience.
Action: Know product features to provide the best advice, manage the team's working schedule to ensure staff are available, and grow the customer base.
2. Lead Your Business & Strategy
Focus: Drive economic performance and strategy.
Action: Act as the CEO of your sport: analyze the local market, set commercial policies, forecast sales, manage budgets, and make decisions on product range and store layout to hit annual targets.
3. Coach & Develop Your Team
Focus: Recruit, train, and inspire high-performing staff.
Action: Recruit sporty, talented individuals, coach them daily on the floor, hold regular meetings, and create training plans to develop their skills and confidence for independent work.
4. Manage Layout & Stock Accuracy
Focus: Maintain an appealing and well-stocked department.
Action: Arrange the layout attractively, ensure shelves are fully faced, and use the automated system to guarantee accurate and available stock.
5. Ensure Safety & Security
Focus: Protect people, goods, and assets.
Action: Enforce basic safety standards, apply all security procedures to combat theft (shrinkage), ensure product safety (like traceability), and be ready to Lead the entire store as Duty Manager when needed.

Profile
We are looking for game-changers and sports enthusiasts ready to lead a commercial department and rapidly progress to a Store Leader role!
1. Education & Experience
Minimum Qualification: At least Diploma required (any field).
Experience: Opened to final-year students, fresh graduates, and more experienced candidates.
2. Passion & Mindset
Passion for Sports: A deep, genuine love for sports is essential to connect with our customers.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: A go-getter who is vital, responsible, and driven to own their department's commercial success.
Continuous Improvement: A strong desire to learn and an eagerness to thrive in a vibrant and agile environment.
3. Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Language: Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken) are essential. Other languages are a plus.
Team Player: High level of integrity and the ability to engage, listen, and influence customers and teammates effectively.
Digital Savvy: Comfortable leveraging digital tools and technology in a retail environment.
4. Commitment & Flexibility
Work Schedule: Must be able to play as part of the team during the busiest times (i.e., flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays).
